The community discusses the future of VTA in this free-form question and answer session. Private buses are discussed as an alternative/complement to VTA. It is also pointed out that buses are often overcapacity, relative to the number of riders and that smaller vehicles might be more efficient. According to Berger, these private buses cost approximately $10k per user per year. VTA’s Adam Berger encourages participation, as he will direct these comments to the VTA’s board.
