The upside to increased density and smaller living spaces is that communal spaces will become that much more valuable. Additionally, it should be possible for an elderly person to downsize in her own neighborhood. We have an opportunity to create a place where senior citizens live among the young, where the poor have decent housing and the rich can live in a place that is exciting and alive with activity from their fellow citizens. The ideas from the Win6Village provide great insight as to how design and integration of local agriculture and affordable housing options create a richer lifestyle for all the citizens.”

Lastly, it is important that we actively seek out the viewpoints of young people, as it is their generation that will be left to manage and live with the decisions made today.
